Stickers Asian Cafe

Via d-dish
Order:
Jiaozo (vegetarian)
Thai Massaman Coconut Curry
Hong Kong Fried Rice
Garlic Spinach

I decided to try Stickers because they're a few blocks from work, and would make a good lunch stop if we like them.

They are very good about marking vegetarian items on the menu, even warning veggies that the peanut sauce is not. The vegetarian potstickers all seemed to be full of ginger, so I ordered one that didn't say either way. Sadly, full of Death Root. The Spousal Unit finished them, but he's never been a potsticker fan (neither am I, honestly), so that we won't repeat.

The Massaman Coconut Curry is listed as a spicy dish, but I found it very bland, with a slightly strange sweet taste. Guys, you're supposed to use the unsweetened coconut.

Two winners: the Hong Kong Fried Rice was just delish, and I'm looking forward to taking the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The Garlic Spinach was also a big hit with the SU. While I was blown asunder by heaps of nearly-raw garlic, he was in allium heaven.

We more or less exhausted the extent of the vegetarian menu. I may order again if I want a treat for the SU, but I'm more likely to just grab an order on the way home, since there's little else on the menu that's outstanding.
