First bento in the new place!

First bento in the new place!, originally uploaded by frykitty.

In the far container, guacamole-cream cheese wraps, with some extra guac. Close up, sliced red pepper, olives, and some cottage cheese with a sliced cucumber for garnish.

(This is also my first post from Flickr)

If you look carefully you can see the little heart made out of tortilla, sitting on top of the guacamole over on the left. Awwwwwwwwww.

Lest anyone think I mock let me just add: I saw the picture before I left for work but didn't notice the little tortilla heart, and the suprise has quite made my day.

This is a bit random, but in looking through your archives it appears that you have not yet discovered the joy that is Bombay Cricket Club. If that's the case, and you're still looking for great Indian food, go there! Make a reservation, but be prepared to wait anyway. You won't care about the wait, because you will be drinking a mango margarita that will knock you flat on your ass. If you like that sort of thing, that is. =) And then you will experience phenomenal Indian food. Enjoy!

On a more recent note, I work near Bridgeport and have just discovered Pastini. I love their salads and I'm thrilled at how much better it is than Olive Garden. Yuck.

Hey there... I really enjoy your site. ;) I'm wondering, do you have a recipe for the guacamole-cream cheese wraps? They look delicious... :D

Does Bento refer to the container in which food comes?

I think it refers to the whole thing. Here's a good article:
