India Oven

3862 SE Hawthorne

This will now be the place against which we measure other Indian food. Yummy, authentic, and cheap. All good things. Note to self: an appetizer and one entree is enough to share.

I had the Saag Aloo, which had ginger in it. It wasn't bad, but it couldn't compete with Senn's order of Navrattan Korma. Oh my, was that ever good stuff. We finished it off, and left the poor Aloo sitting.

The rice is fantastic, and the tamarind sauce delish. We ordered all that for under $25, and we could have ordered less. We'll be back.
