July 23, 2003Canita'sOh, this was goooood. I had the Tambor Maiz, which is a corn casserole, served with herbed avocado, rice, and beans. Just wonderful. The pumpkin fritters we had for an apetizer were good as well. Senn and DJ had the communist plate, which was rice and beans with yucca root. The root is much like potato--a bit sweeter and chewier. Posted by Cat Connor on July 23, 2003 09:04 PMCommentsCanita's is good, but I'm still more fond Pambiche. Although if you want to dance after your meal, stay at Canita's. Their band is amazing! Posted by: Jenn on September 10, 2003 09:44 AMI agree....Pambiche is some excellent grub. Nice outdoor option for summer. Greg Posted by: Greg on May 14, 2004 11:45 AMPost a comment |
